Gold plated jewelry is made of durable sterling silver coated with two generous layers of 14k gold. However, since it is not pure gold, gold plated jewelry will not last forever.

Whether you choose our gold-plated or rhodium-plated jewelry, you can keep it in perfect condition by cleaning it, avoiding chemicals, and storing it safely.

Here are some tips to help you make your jewelry last as long as possible:

 

When you wear them

-We recommend that you avoid contact with soaps, lotions and perfumes. Remove your jewelry when washing your hands, showering and putting on lotions, perfume and makeup. These may contain products that alter the shine of your jewelry over time.

-Avoid swimming with your jewelry. Chlorine, the main chemical in pool water, can dull the finish, discolor, or even remove the coating on your items.

-Protect them from sweat. We recommend that you avoid wearing your jewelry during physical exercise, as sweat can tarnish it. Despite the great effect you will have at the gym with your jewelry, it is probably not worth risking damaging it. And we are confident that you will not miss the opportunities to shine!

-Make your jewelry the last item you put on when you get dressed. This will help prevent earrings, rings, and chains from snagging on your clothes and getting makeup, lotion, or perfume on them.

When storing

Properly storing your jewelry is just as important as taking care of it while it is being worn.
